I have a table in which I've applied Conditional Formatting to a column using a DATEDIF formula based on another column ie =DATEDIF(C2,TODAY(),"M")>54 fills D2 red applied to $D:$D (I have a top level =TRUE no fill $1:$1 Stop If True to exclude the header) ...

But this applies the CF to the whole column ie rows without values beyond the last row in the table ...

I can't use Applies to $D:$Dnnn where nnn is the last row in the table, because the table constantly grows/shrinks ...

Is there a way to apply the CF ONLY to rows with a value in column C?

Thanks ...

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Is your table a structured table or just a range?

In that case as long as you select the entire data column (less the header) & then create the CF rules, the applied range should change to match the table.

Solution
OK, thought I'd done that, but I'll give it another go ...

Thanks as always ...

PS; will mark as resolved
