Conditional Formatting of cell based on four different values

I am trying to apply conditional formatting to a cell. I would like the cell to turn a specific colour if the value entered into the cell equals O, or o, or O* or o*. I have tried many attempts to find the correct formula for the conditional formatting to no avail. Can you help me out please?

Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
