Hello all,

I have the following in a single cell and want to highlight it red if any of the lines are over 65 Characters. The lines are separated by alt enter (line break).

This is a test!
This is another test!
This is a further test which happens to be over 65 characters in length!

Ideally, I need a formula to put into the conditional formatting section.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, EAG1

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Do you have the TEXTSPLIT function?

Solution
@Peter_SSs Yes I do and had been playing around with it but couldn't get it to work. Your formula works a treat. Thank you very much for the help.
