hello all,
I am attempting to assing conditional formatting icons to a set of words. The only way I can think of doing this is by having some code to translate the words into a number, and then from that number do the conditional formatting. Please see example below.

Column A Column B Column C
Transported 1 Green stop light
Not Transported 2 Red Stop light
In Transport 3 Yellow Stop light
Awaiting Transport 3 Yellow Stop Light

From the data above you can see that I want to assign the number 1 to all things in column A that say "Transported," assign the number 2 in column B for all things in column A that say "Not Transported," and assign the number 3 in column B to anything that says "In Transport" or "Awaiting Transport." This will allow me to easily set up the traffic lights in Office '10. However, I am not sure how to write the code to get this for me. Can someone please give me a hand with this code, I would expect it should be a pretty small piece of code to do this.

Thank you so much!!!
