Hi!

I have a seemingly easy question, but I just can't figure it out.

I know that I can conditionally format a cell if the date in the cell is expired '=A5 < TODAY ( )<TODAY(). do I expired...how is A5-Z5, say let?s row, the in cell ANY if A1 format to want and A1, Cell Number Customer a have However, p that?<> ' ,

However, say I have Customer number in Cell A1, and I want to format A1 if ANY cells in the row, let's say E1-Z1, have an expired date?

Alternatively, how do I check a column for any expired dates so that I may format it's heading?

I have no idea how to have the formatting search an entire row or column.

Thanks!!

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
here is a seemingly easy answer :)

for a column =MIN(G:G)<TODAY()

for your range =min(e1:z1)<today()

Actually, now I was testing more....and it's coloring the Customer Number when ANY cell is filled.

I'm trying to shade the Customer Number, Cell A1 red only when the row contains an Expired date. This is shading the cell red even when the row does not contain any expired dates.

Is there a way to fix this?
