Conditional formula help!!!

Hi
Can som1 please help me with a formula to perform the following
“ if cell 'main'!U7 contains a negative value(integer) then cell 'C'!I16 =B!I15+'C'!I10
ELSE IF
if cell 'main'!U7 contains a positive value(integer) then cell 'C'!I16 =B!I15-'C'!I10

In cell I16 put this formula:

=if(main!U7<0,B!I15+C!I10,B!I15-C!I10)

Hope that helps and I assume that B and C are sheet names and you are referring to column I?
