Conditional Highlighting of Cell based on which other cell is not empty

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

For each row, I want to highlight the cell in column A a certain color, based on which adjoining cell (B, C or D) has an 'x' marked in it.

Say: (B, C, D) ==> (Yellow, Red, Blue) So if cell (B2) has an 'x', cell (A2) is highlighted Yellow.

You can use formula is in conditional formatting for this

in cell A2, CF formula is: =B2="x" set yellow format
in cell A2, CF formula is: =C2="x" set red format
in cell A2, CF formula is: =D2="x" set blue format
