I wondering if there's a way to convert a number to reflect a time. For example, if a number is 9.75 I would want the formula to convert it to 9:45. If the number was 9.47 I'd want the formula to make it 9:28. Obviously the numbers go from .00 to .99 while the time only goes from :00 to :59. Thanks in advance for any help

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Just divide by 24 and format as hh:mm.

=A1/24
