I am looking for some assistance: I have a large number of spreadsheets which use a number of conditional formatting rules - unfortunately i now have to use excel 2003 which will only support three conditional formats and does not have the same function as 2010

I am able to make this work if i can remove some of the conditional formatting and permanently make some changes.

an example is that i have a cell in B which has a lookup - depending on the value in column then a formula =INDIRECT("b"&ROW())="Goal" in the conditional format rule colours the row in a particular colour and shading.

What i need to do is to either run a macro to read in these values and make the cell colours and shading permanent or to find some way of removing the conditional format but leaving behind the colour in each cell

i have a number of other conditional formats running but these are simple cell formats based on a value and there are only a couple of these so that should transfer to 2003 fine..

Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
