I need to convert text describing the dimensions, in feet and inches, of a three dimensional object into numbers in separate columns. Here's an example:
Convert 1'2" x 30'40" x 50'6" (all in one cell) into six separate columns containing 1 2 30 40 50 6

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Welcome to the MrExcel forum!

Try:

Book1 (version 1).xlsb
ABCDEFGH
11'2 X 30'40 x 50'6123040506
Sheet21
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
C1:H1C1=MID(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(LOWER(A1),"x","'"),"'",REPT(" ",99)),SEQUENCE(,6,1,99),99)+0
Dynamic array formulas.
