Convert year-week to year (i.e. 201701 to 2017) DAX?

Hi all,

Firstly - I'm just discovering Power BI having previously used Power Pivot, apologies if my questions are rather basic...

I have a field in my table which shows YEAR and WEEK no as one field, for example 201701

I would like to isolate the Year (2017) and ideally (next step) take the 201701 and convert it both to year (2017) and Month (January).

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I assume this is your data table. You should not change it here. You should get a calendar table. Read up in some of my help documents
