Converting date dd/mm/yyyy to ddmmyyyy format

I have a column of date (dd/mm/yyyy format) which I want to convert to ddmmyyyy format. Can someone help me do that?

If they are true dates just change the formatting for that column to a custom format of:

ddmmyyyy
