Hello.
I have a database of books in an excel sheet that has a column with ISBN codes (numerical) and the corresponding title in column B.
I have another sheet that is linked to a Microsoft form used for check-in/out barcode scanning of items. However when they scan the book only the numerical portion of the ISBN populates. Is there a way for it to pull the title from the other sheet and populate that with the numerical code? As an example below I'd like the title from the Inventory List to populate in the Title box in the Working Inventory sheet when the code is scanned.
Appreciate any help

Thank you. That helped. I actually used Match/Index instead but was only lead to that by your lead. Thank you

You are welcome.

Yes, INDEX/MATCH is fine (and often preferrable).
It is just that VLOOKUP is often easier to use (which is why I suggested that). Many people get confused by INDEX/MATCH.
