copy 1 letter/3 number alphanumeric only

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to copy any occurance of (1) letter followed by (3) numbers from column A over to column B.

For example, if in cell A99 the text is: (R451--Master#1 - Reel 2), then B99 should read: R451

I appreciate the help!!
 

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
