Hi folks,
when copying and pasting a range of cells that are merged the paste doesn't copy the format. i.e. the pasted cells are unmerged.
Completing the task with the same workbook on a different machine has the expected result i.e. the pasted cells are merged.
This issue is only present on a particular user's laptop. A Windows update was done on the laptop over the weekend.
Is there somewhere in Excel that the default behaviour of Copy/Paste is set?
Or is this a case of getting Excel reinstalled on that machine?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Yes, they can be troublesome for the person who has to sort out the issues (me).
But alas, they are there and I have to work with them.
But this particular instance doesn't appear to be a problem with the merged cells themselves. Especially as it works fine on other machines. Looks like it's something to do with the update that was performed.
I think the solution is to have Excel reinstalled on the problematic machine.
