I need the text in bold to be pasted downwards until preferably numbers on the right stop. This would then need to repeat again at the next bold text in column A several times.
If its easier, The text in bold "191007-Job Name 1" can be pasted all the way to the next cell with text in it, in this case "191007-job name 1" can be pasted all the way to the cell above "191008-Job Name 2"

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
How about
VBA Code:
Sub csteps()
   With Range("B2", Range("B" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
      .SpecialCells(xlConstants).Offset(, -1).FormulaR1C1 = "=r[-1]c"
      .Offset(, -1).Value = .Offset(, -1).Value
   End With
End Sub
