Copy sorted fields

How do I copy fields that are sorted so that when I paste them they are in that same sorted order? When I sort by an item and copy then paste, it pastes it in order not sorted???

I have never seen any copy and paste where it changes the order when pasting.

Are you using any formulas or filters in the range you are trying to copy?

Yes they are sorted with autofilter.
