Hi,
I have a number of formulas copying from another workbook, example one is
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I$1203
I want to copy this formula 40 rows down but only add 1 to the formula so it ends up like
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I$1204
in cell I1243
Can you help me what I need to do please
I appreciate your help.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Remove the absolute reference ($) on the line number. for example:
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I1203

If I copy that down 40 rows it will just make the formula
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I1243
What I need it to do is for me to be able to copy the original
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I$1203 and it only add 1 row lower
so it would become
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I$1204 that appears in the cell

I probably wasn't too clear on my original question.
I'm actually copying
='[Value of Money3.xlsx]Income'!$I$1203
into a separate file.

Any other thoughts?
Thanks for getting back to me.
