Copying cells between files

I am working with two Excel spreadsheets on seperate files. I would like to copy the data from one sheet to another. I just want the numbers and not the formula that goes along with it. How can I do this? When I copy and paste the data from one file to another, it brings the formulas along with it, but I just want the raw number value.

Try using Edit > Paste Special and tick Values.
