Is there a way to copy cells with dropdown lists in one workbook to another? I can copy this to another worksheet within the same workbook but it doesn't work if I copy to another workbook.

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
I don't think you can do it without VBA (Combo Boxes etc).

However, good practice is to have a separate sheet called Lists. Your Data Validation looks at these lists for the drop down box.

If you move/copy the Lists sheet to the other workbook, you can then copy the cell with the drop-down box.
