Hi. it's been some time since I posted something. Thank you in advance.

I handle very large amounts of distribution ists and email addresses.
here is the situation:
I have 9 columns of email addresses over multiple worksheets in a workbook. Every worksheet represents a distribution list
the categories are "To", "Cc" and "Bcc" for 3 different groups of peple. hence 9 columns.

I would like to Identify how many email addresses are on each sheet.
I would approach this by counting the number of "@" on every sheet.

Table of contents across the web count the number of rows or cell for every sheet. I would like to count the number of "@" for every sheet instead.

thank you for any ideas.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
cant you just use the following formula:
=COUNTA(A:C)

Instead of A:C you can use the columns you are using for emails.
