I'm using this formula =COUNTIF(B3:AC3, "OT") >0 in conditional formatting to color all weekends blue when an employee has an OT date. All employees are required to have 1 weekend OT for the month. I want to make it a different color if a date is chosen so we can tell easier if they have no OT. The problem is, when I punch in OT on my test sheet the blue only shows up to the OT column and no further (see screenshot). What am I missing to make it show the entire row for the month?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
You need to lock the columns in the formula like
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIF($B3:$AC3, "OT") >0
