I cannot figure out why this formula keeps telling me "There is a problem with this formula"
=COUNTIF('IMAC-D Summary'!E:E="Disposal", 'IMAC-D Summary'!Z:Z=Sheet5!E:E=Sheet5!E2)

I am trying to count the number of times that two conditions are met
1 - the word "Disposal" exists in column E of the IMAC-D Summary worksheet
and
2 - The value in cell E2 of the Sheet5 worksheet is present in column Z of the IMAC-D Summary

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Thats not how you use it hence the error.

=COUNTIFS('IMAC-D Summary'!E:E,"Disposal",'IMAC-D Summary'!Z:Z,"*"&Sheet5!E2&"*")

Since You have more then 1 criteria, so it should be COUNTIFS. And then you need to separate the range and condition with ", " where you use the "=" sign.

EDIT: same as steve the fish, he was just a bit quicker and provided a formula.
