I am cataloging my record collection and I am wanting to count from a list of titles two totals, the albums and the 12" singles, the 12" singles all have (12" Single) added at the end of the title so it has been easy to count these using COUNTIF('LP''s'!B3:B500,"*12"" Single*") , however I am now trying to count those cells which don't include 12" Single, this wouldn't be an issue if I didn't still have blanks in the range but as I do until I finish adding the names I want to be able to count those cells that don't contain 12" Single but also aren't blank, could someone advise me on a formula that would work, thanks

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
How about:

Code:
=COUNTIFS('LP''s'!B3:B500,"<>"&"",'LP''s'!B3:B500,"<>"&"*12"" Single*")
