Hello,

I am trying to use the countifs function to calculate the percentage that’s completed vs not completed.

I have the link to the file here: Training Data Report.xlsx

So on sheet 1 I am trying to take the total count of those that have been assigned based on the sheet “Training Raw Data 2023”.

In Training Raw Data I am trying to count the following columns:

Training - Training titleMonthTraining record - Training record statusDivision List

So for example for March I am trying to count all that have the training title: UK - HSE - My Personal Safety

The month: March

The training record of “*” as I want all of the training status and then the division as CHDA

Then for the completed column in sheet 1 I am trying to do the same but the training record is “completed”

Basically, on sheet 1 when I change the total assigned to March it does not update the count properly instead all total assigned remains the same.
I try to then do a count with different training titles but I keep getting the same numbers when I fill in the formula for the remaining divisions. The sheet “Feb Not Complete vs Complete” is correct but I am struggling to replicate it due to the wrong calculations from the countifs formula.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
The formula is correct. You do actually have the same number of rows for all those items.
