Create Baseball Standings

I'm currently creating standings in Excel using SumProduct or
Array Sum(IF()) formulas.
Because of limitations in Excel I want to create these same standings using Access.
What should I look for in the way of corresponding functions or the approach (logic) I should take to doing it in Access?
Basic data field layout:
Visiting Team (VT) Visiting Team Runs (VTR) Home Team (HT) Home Team Runs (HTR)

Can someone get me pointed in the right direction?
