Hi,

I tried creating a link in the excel worksheet, because I have a few reports that are located in different places all over the network.

There were a couple of issues.

1. When I copy this to another workbook it erases the links.
2. It seems to force you to link to a document on the LAN, not a location, can we link to a location?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
just paste the path of the folder into the cell: \\server\folder\folder\
it will turn blue as a hyperlink,
then you just click it to open the folder.
