First time Power Pivot User and very close! The pivot table works perfectly. Now I need help in creating measures in Power Pivot. In need to create 6 Measures: PrevMTD, CurrentMTD, %VMTD and PrevYTD, CurrentYTD, and %V YTD. The data is in the Data model with 3 Tables: Data Table, Month Table and Year Table. I have already created a measure for Total Sales and am trying to use the Calculate function to create these measures? Can anyone help?

Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().

A good introduction,
Microsofts Reference

Its worth reading (essential if you're new to this) Rob Collie and Avichal Singh's book 'Power Pivot and Power BI'.
