I'm trying to query a database by using the criteria of a related field.

For example:

Address, Location
Grafton NSW 2460, Qld
Thornleigh NSW 2120, NSW

I need to know where the location is not in the address, as in line 1.

Where the location is in the address, I don't need to know. As in line 2.

Thanks if anyone can help.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Try this:
Code:
SELECT Table5.id, Table5.Address, Table5.Location, IIf(InStr([Address],[Location])<>0,"Present","Not Present") AS Expr1
FROM Table5;
Change your table names as appropriate and change Expr1 as appropriate.
