custom footer question

Hello Mr. Excel Forum board,

i have a big spreadsheet that is semi sloppy in its formatting. I am trying to print it out for presentation but I want the page numbers to be different than the normal [page] settings for the footer. The sheet has 5 pages to it and instead of [1,2,3,4,5] I want it to print with the pages as [4,2,1,3,5]. Reformatting this sheet will take a while, so I am wondering if there is a way to make the footer adjust instead of spending the time reformatting.

I have looked for a while and cant find an answer, does anyone know if this is possible or do footers follow too strict rules?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
You'll need to enter the page number in the footer on each sheet...individually. Isn't difficult to do nor is it laborious since you only have 5 sheets.

When i try to do it manually it fills the footer in for each page. If i put 5 for page one, it puts 5 for every page... Can u tell me how u can set it to manual?
