In Excel 2007 why is the Custom Views button always grayed out in .xlsm files?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
I am having the same problem, but can't seem to fix it. I went through all my tabs and I don't see any data that is in tables. I have pivot tables, but I found another forum where the user said removing them didn't help. What else could be preventing me from using custom views? Any help would be appreciated.

Try deleting one tab at a time until you see the selection not grayed out. Then at least you know which tab is causing the problem. Then see what you may find on that tab.

I just made a macro to hide and unhide the tabs I want to hide for now. I'm not sure if I'll continue troubleshooting this.
