Data cell count need help!

I have column of data reporting people worked at each company. I need to total each cell that has greater than 0 and count it as 1. Goal is to have a total active customer count for the month.

ex.
abc 5
aaa 0
ccc 2

Total is "2" active customers for the month.
Can you help with the formula?

=COUNTIF(B1:B3,">0")
