Data / Subtotal - Remove

Can I remove a subtotal? I highlighted information I wanted subtotaled and used the data / subtotal feature but now I want to remove it. Can I do this? If so, how? Thanks.

When you did the subtotals there is a button to "Remove All". That will remove the subtotals

Have you ever experienced rows of information missing after using the subtotal feature? If so, were you able to get it back? I had a spreadsheet with over 1400 row entries and after I did the subtotal, I only had 500 rows. If you know how to get the information back, please advise. Thanks.
