Data Validation - Filter as you type

Is it possible for Excel's built-in Data Validation to filter as you type?

For example, the list is:

aardvark
aardwolf
abacisci
abacists
abaculus
abacuses
abalones
abampere

baaing
babble
babied
babies
babkas
baboon
baboos
babuls

so when the user types ba, the data validation automatically scrolls to ba.

I know it's possible with a combobox.
