Hi All,
I'm working in sheet1 and trying to create a list from values in sheet2 column A:A.
The data valation function will not allow me to create a list using values from another worksheet.

Is there a way to call the values from sheet2 into sheet 1 cell A1: A5000?

I added under define and when I go to the cell with the list, the cell is locekd and will not show values from list.
Thoughts?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

After defining the list, go to Data/Validation, select List from the Allow window and in the Source window, enter the name you gave your range preceeded by the equal sign as in,

=MyList
