DATA VALIDATION: Item picked Drop down list in row 1 determines what is shown in drop down list on row 2

Using Excel for Mac 2008.

Using two excel sheets.

First sheet, the "master inventory" contains the following:

I have played around with INDEX and MATCH but i can't come up with anything that works as i would need a list for the serial No. Column.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Note: there is another 6 items from the "Master inventory" which i have omitted for clarity.
