Data Validation List based on cell value

Hello Friends,

I want to add data validation to cell C4 and H4

If cell A1 value = true then add validation list named "hi" to cell C4 & H4
If cell A1 value = false then add validation list named "hello" to cell C4 & H4

Any help would be appreciated

Assuming the lists Hi and Hello are named vertical ranges:
Use your mouse and the ctrl key to select C4 & H4.
Data>Data Tools> Data Validation
Apply the settings below

Try in the 'J1' cell formula below

=VLOOKUP(A1,$J$2:$K$3,2,FALSE)

In Validation list put formula below

=IF(J1="hi",L2:L6,M2:M6)
