Hi all

I have a simple list of data though rows A27:A35 of Sheet1 which is formatted as a Table named DropdownList

This 'DropdownList' will populate a Data Validation List situated on cell R20 of Sheet2

I would like the data validation list to open each time selected showing the first item on the list

How can this be achieved as currently it defaults to the last item selected

Thnaks in advance

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
It is not too cumbersome to scroll to the first item with the mouse as the data validation list is not too long (only 8 entries are shown at a time).
Also, you can always use CTRL + HOME to quickly jump to the first item when the dropdown is shown.
