Hi

I have tried to think of various ways to do this and can't come up with a definitive answer.

I have 10 sheets in a workbook all with identical formats:
Summary page
Property 1 Option A
Property 1 Option B
Property 1 Option C
Property 2 Option A
Property 2 Option B
Property 2 Option C
Property 3 Option A
Property 3 Option B
Property 3 Option C

I want to be able to use data validation to sum 3 sheets together on the summary page, ie
Property 1 Option C
Property 2 Option A
Property 3 Option B

Is there any way of doing this, either formula/macro based?

Thanks in advance

Matt

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I'm not sure where data validation comes into this.

Are you able to provide an example of one of the sheets?

Apologies, my data validation will be as follows. Three drop down boxes which allow me to select which option I want to choose for each property

Property 1 - choose Option A, B or C
Property 2 - choose Option A, B or C
Property 3 - choose Option A, B or C

Is that any clearer?
