Hi

I have made a cell give two options ye or no in excel 2013using Data Validation.

Now when I copy paste a value other than yes or no on that cell I want an error shown. Right now it just over writes the data validation.

How do I achieve this without macros

Go to Data-Validation. In the 1st window choose "list" and in the source field type

Yes,No

Click on the Error Alert Tab, in the bottom right hand area of the window enter the error message you want to appear.
