I have been tasked with creating a CRM database for my company. One problem I will face is that the remote employees can get onto the network only via Citrix, as the company is not working under a domain. Is it possible that the remote employees have a replicated copy of the database and synchronize via citrix?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Unfortunately not all participants will have continual access to the app...

The remote employees are often in the field at customer sites, and may not have Internet access and therefore no access to Citrix.

Replication between database is not a trivial task. It can be done. If you wan to go with replication then I make sure the back end allows field level replication not record level.

I find it generally is most cost effective to get wireless internet cards for the remote users. The cost to rebuild you system to handle replication and the issue with syncing can end up costing more than the wireless cards.

Thanks for your advice. I think I'll push for the air cards...
