Hi all,

I have an issue with date format, desptite changing the format for 23/01/2023 it stays at 1/23/23

also formulas fail to work with this format in this state
could this be a language issue, seems ok and set to English UK

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Could the data in the cell be a text value that looks like "1/23/23"?

Maybe, try typing a different date and then the date you want.

What happens if you format a different cell the way you want, then type in your date? If that works then drag that cell overtop of the bad cell.
