Date Horizontal Chart Axis

Hello there,

I don't think what I'm asking is possible, but I'll ask in hope! Here is a link to the spreadsheet I'm working on: easyupload.io

I've created a line chart with multi-level category labels, the horizonal axis are dates, but when I try to format the axis it doesn't recognise the date format to enable me to use the maximum/minimum parameters. Is this due to be being designed with multi-level category labels?

Essentially, I'm trying to squeeze as many dates as possible into horizontal axis whilst still looking readable!

I welcome any suggestions or alternative chart designs to display the information better.
