Good afternoon,
In Excel 2010 version, I have a date ( December 31, 2011) in one file. When I copy this date to another book, it changes to December 30, 2007.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
One of the books (I think the first one) is using the 1904 Date system.
Not sure where that setting is in 2010, I'm using 2003 right now.
But it should be in the same place you turn calculation on/off

Try this:

File - Options - Advanced
and then be sure to uncheck / deselect "Use 1904 date system"
This option is near the bottom in the section: "When calculating this workbook:"
