Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Perhaps like this
Excel Workbook
ABCDE
1YearsMonthsDays
201/06/201001/08/2011120
302/06/201026/08/20111224
401/01/199920/05/201112419

Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
C2=DATEDIF(A2, B2, "y")
D2=DATEDIF(A2, B2, "ym")
E2=DATEDIF(A2, B2, "md")

DATEDIF is a native function in Excel, it's not documented but it's definitely there.

You don't have to create it - it is built-in. Have you actually tried to enter those formulas?
