"De-activate" self-referencing circularities?

I have a peculiar problem to which there are many obvious solutions, but I'm looking for inspiration to find the most efficient one.

Imagine a complicated financial operating model that keeps being versioned up by the minute. One sheet functions as an extensive output section with a multitude of self-referencing cells (thousands).

This model is used by two clients. One can't stand the circularities and complains it makes model slower. The other client must have the output sheet that shows multiple scenarios simultaneously (hence the self-refs).

My current idea is to delete the sheet when sending to the client that dislikes the circularities, and keep when sharing with the other. The issue with this solution though is that they shared models between them, make changes, I make changes, versioned up all the time, cells move around (so re-inserting the output would not always work seamlessly). Etc., etc.

So, I was wondering if any of you have a better solution? Ideal would be to have perhaps a function that switches the cells on/off (to make circularities on/off)? Maybe I'm missing something obvious here.

I don't want to tell client to turn iterative off in options, etc.

Maybe a macro/simpler function that adds or removes a ' before the formulae on the sheet?

Thank you
