Hello. I have an excel problem that I am hoping to get some help with. I need to enter a formula in the range H3:H43 using defined names to calculate the revenue, which is determined by the units sold multiplied by the price per unit. And in the range I3:I43, enter a formula using defined names to calculate the expenses, which are determined by the units sold multiplied by the cost per unit plus the fixed monthly expense.
Here is how my worksheet is set up:
Column A - nothing in it
B1:E14 is a chart that I haven't read how to do yet
F - nothing in it
G - Units Sold
H - Revenue
I - Expenses
B15 - Sales Price per Unit
B16 - Manufacturing Cost per Unit
B17 - Fixed Monthly Expense
B18 - Break Even Point (Units Sold)
B19 - Revenue at Break Even Point
So far, all I have had to do was define the following cells with names:
C15 - Price per unit
C16 - Cost per unit
C17 - Monthly Expenses
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
