Here is an example of what I am tryingt to do to my text. What I want is to drop everything that is in "()" including the brackets. I've searched the help file in Excel and the only topic that comes close is
=LEFT(ProductDescription,LEN(ProductDescription)-11) ("ProductDescription is a named cell in my spreadsheet - it equals what is found below).
Pers Dwr Doors w/ 1 Adj Shelf (Base ODB)
change to:
Pers Dwr Doors w/ 1 Adj Shelf
The problem is, my data can be longer or shorter than what I have shown. So, what really needs to happen is I need to look for the brackets and delete what is in them as well as brackets themselves. Any ideas? Thanks.
