Hello All

I have a worksheet and in column A I have put my data, I would like to place a button or run a macro that will check column A and delete any data in the cells that contain numbers and letters together or just letters. If any cells in the column contain just numbers then leave well alone.

Can this be done?

Thanks

Colin

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
In column B you could enter the formula =IF(ISNUMBER(A2)), A2, ""), copy down, paste special as values and then delete column A.
