Display an image based on cell value

I have a “master table”. In each cell is a number between 1 and 3.
In that same worksheet on another tab I have a “presentation table” with the same number of rows/columns as the "master table" but instead of numbers in each cell I would like to dynamically replace the number with an image that represents that number.

For example, I want 1 to = a red triangle image, 2 to = a blue square image and 3 to = a green circle image.

If the “master table” has the following values:

1 2 3
2 3 1
3 1 2

Then the “display table” should dynamically display:

red triangle blue square green circle
blue square green circle red triangle
green circle red triangle blue square

Each month the data in the “master table” would be updated with new numbers and the “display table” should dynamically update the images in its cells.

I'm reasonable skilled with Excel, but not a whiz. Is something like this going to put me way out over my skis?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Can you use what Excel makes available via Conditional Formatting?
Or do you have custom images to be displayed?
